What are arty-parties like?
FUN! Our motto is “Come Out and Play!” Arty-Parts want you to have a great time, and maybe learn something new along the way. Our artists guide you through the night’s featured painting, step by step. We help you choose color combinations and brush sizes and give you detailed instructions. Ask lots of questions. That’s why we are here. We encourage our budding artists to take risks and find a way to make each project your own. By the end of the evening you will be amazed at the artwork you have created! Most parties run about 3 hours long with frequent breaks.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Arty-Parties have limited seating so signing up in advance is highly recommended. You can register online via our online calendar or contact us by phone.
What time do I arrive for a class?
Plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early to settle in, grab a beverage and enjoy the atmosphere. If you’re a few minutes late, the staff will help you catch up. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, you’ll need to reschedule, subject to the Cancellation Policy. It’s your fun night out, so come early!
What is your cancellation policy?
Arty-Parts offers an art instruction and entertainment event that can be compared to a concert or theater event. We realize that unforeseen things happen, but we also would appreciate the time to offer the seat to others and fill the spot.
Reservations are non refundable. A full credit will be issued if you contact us at least 48 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in a credit. NO credits or refunds for no-shows.
Tickets are fully transferable, and you may let someone of your own choosing use your ticket in your absence.
We may cancel public parties without a minimum of 10 attendees. Customers will be notified via email and a refund will be given.
How much does it cost?
The standard price range is between $25-$45 depending on the event and the materials used. Typically a two-hour party is $25-$35 and a three-hour party is $40-$45. We accept cash, credit card, local checks and gift certificates.
What is included?
Arty-Parts provides the fun, artist, canvas, paint, brushes and easels (please bring your own apron at this time. We hope to have aprons available at a future date.) A light snack, beverage, glass of wine or beer is also included at Arty-Parties (public parties.) We do all the setup and clean up. You just show up, have fun, create your artwork and take it home.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and remember SPLATTER HAPPENS! Bring an apron or paint shirt to protect your clothing.
If I come with a group, can we all sit together?
Seating is first come, first serve. If you have a large party please show up early or call us in advance. We can usually keep your party together. If we can’t, we’ll make sure you meet new friends.
Should I tip?
Arty-Parts works hard to ensure that you have a good time. Tipping is very much appreciated, but not required. Thank you!
May I bring my own alcohol beverages to the party?
Outside beverages are not allowed at PUBLIC Arty-Parties. We typically work with local restaurants and civic groups to host our parties. Selling of beverages at our events helps support them and do the great work they do in our community, and we appreciate their partnership. You may BYOB to mobile parties if your host allows.
May I bring food to mobile and private parties?
Yes…you are welcome to bring snacks to all arty-parties.
Are children welcome?
We offer special Children and Family Play Parties which are geared towards younger artists ages 7 & up. We do allow children 13 and up to attend some arty-parties and Private parties, but only where noted.
